This is the same group that used to meet as part of the Raleigh Women's Social Meetup Group. All we've done is move it to its own web page. We meet in a small venue so each monthly meeting is limited to 14 members. All of the current members are interesting women who are committed to attending our group on a regular basis. Girlfriends Book Club (GBC) is not only a book club but a sorority of some sort. Founded in 2004, Girlfriends Book Club has branched out to form a total of 3 chapters, including the Raleigh chapter. Not only do our members have a passion for reading, but they also have a place in their heart for volunteer activities, fundraisers and Black History awareness.

I just moved to Cary and I want to start a book club for women interested in reading and sharing a book together. Our first meeting will be at my home on Wed. December 7th at 9:30 am.
